Dear Friends,

Putul Foundation organised its very first ‘ Sunaina Verma Memorial Women’s Cricket Tournament 22‘ spanning over 5 days from 4th May to 8th May consisting of four teams . Teams name were kept considering the legendary women’s freedom fighters and great warriors who have contributed immensely for the freedom movement in India.The name of the teams were : – RUDRAMA DEVI XI, KELADI CHENAMMA XI, RANI LAKSHMI BAI XI & VELU NACHIYAR XI. Players have been selected on the basis of two days trial on 23 & 24th April 22 for the tournament from the talented cricketers from all over Bihar.

I personally take this moment to express my utmost gratitude to all the sponsors for their support and the people/ friends associated to this cause for their contribution.

It fills my heart with happiness and pride that ,we, Putul Foundation, were able to provide a platform for the women’s cricket players of our state .

I sincerely hope that the tournament as well as its players achieve heights of success in the years to come.
